DJ PROject is a Guatemalan born musical producer and DJ based out of the touristic and culture rich town of Antigua Guatemala. With Nigerian and Honduran ethnic backgrounds he was born and lived in the city of Guatemala until the age of 5 when he and his mother settled in the Sunset Park area of Brooklyn New York with other family members. The beautiful big city was since then his home. But surprisingly his love for music  did not manifest until the age of 11 when he lived a short stay with his father in North Carolina. He grew a deeper passion for music, participating in both his school's band and orchestra. He had long been influenced by his father's vast knowledge of music,and unlike other kids his age who gravitated toward first person video game shooters, his game of choice at that time would be no other than rockband. But his love of music did not stop there, as he had taken up 3 instruments by his early high school years.

Upon returning to the Big Apple as an early teen he was more exposed to the Hip-Hop culture trend which led to be some of his biggest influences once he became a devoted listener of the oldschool  Hip-Hop pioneer MC's of Brooklyn such as Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Big Daddy Kane, and Notorious B.I.G. Unbeknownst to him the acquisition of such a music culture would open a pandora's box to the world of djing, beat boxing, mceeing, and aerosol art that would influence many of the music we hear today. he became a student of the mastery of the very first people to introduce djing to the world originating right from the same city he resided and grew up in.

Today as a producer, dj and lover of music PROject's works attempt to incorporate various styles and genres in order to break the barrier of single genre listening/preference and expose listeners to the multidimensional experience that is music, the have them expand their curiosity, understanding and hence forth enjoyment of music from various artist,styles and genres. With a Hip-Hop base, many of his works mesh different rhythm styles with other musical  genres such as ambient, orchestral compositions, electronic, dubstep, house and many others. These experimentations provide his projects with a unique sound for lovers of all music genres to share and enjoy.
